Travel Day to Hawaii
You will depart your home city in the early morning and will arrive Honolulu, Hawaii in the mid-afternoon to early evening. Upon arrival at the Honolulu International Airport you will receive a traditional Hawaiian Lei Greeting and be taken to the team hotel located in Waikiki. A representative from the “NoKaOi Volleyball staff” will greet you at the hotel and assist you with check-in. The remainder of the afternoon/evening is yours to explore the Waikiki area.
Wednesday - July 8, 2020
Island Tour and Sightseeing Day
This is a day full of sightseeing and fun. The tour bus will leave the hotel at 8:00 AM for the Aloha Flea Market at Aloha Stadium. You will have the opportunity to buy gifts and souvenirs at a very cheap price. This is a great place to do your shopping for the week. We then continue to the fabulous Pali Lookout where you will have the chance to take breathtaking photos with your teammates. Our sightseeing journey finishes with some of Oahu's most beautiful scenery which includes: the Halona Blow Hole, Hanauama Bay and Sandy Beach.
Thursday - July 9, 2020
Day at your Leisure - Evening Practice
Thursday is a perfect opportunity to explore the island of Oahu. You may want to take an optional sightseeing excursion such as snorkeling at Hanauma Bay, parasailing, or maybe climb to the top of Diamond Head Crater. Whatever your choice, this day will be one to remember. In the evening your team will travel to the tournament location to practice together as you prepare for the tournament.
Friday - July 10, 2020
Day at Your Leisure – Polynesian Luau & Dinner
Once again, this day is a chance to experience all Honolulu has to offer. The day concludes with an evening authentic Polynesian Luau, which is sure to be one of the highlights of your week.
Saturday - July 11, 2020
Tournament Play Begins!
Teams depart for the event venue in the morning or early afternoon. Each team will play two matches during the opening round of the “NoKaOi Volleyball Tournament.” This evening you and your team may want to eat at the Hard Rock Café, or one of Waikiki’s best local restaurants – “Duke’s” named in honor of Hawaii’s legendary surfer, Duke Kahanamoku.
Sunday - July 12, 2020
NoKaOi Tournament Finals
Each team plays their final two matches today with overall winners advancing to the Championship Medal Round. After the finals the tournament will conclude with the presentation of awards.
Monday - July 13, 2020
Day at Leisure - Depart for Home
You and your teammates should have the morning and afternoon free to get in one last swim or maybe take the surfing lesson you've put off all week. Departures for the airport occur throughout the afternoon and evening for your flight home.
Tuesday - July 14, 2020
Return to Your Home City
You arrive home after an enjoyable experience with new friends and teammates for life.
